From equipment to facility: planning an ARES project

Space, access, power and documentation: a practical conversation with the manufacturer.

Choose the experience

Compare targeted, open, standing and lying whole-body formats. Match posture, privacy and accessibility to your facility.

Measure the complete route

Record the room, doorways, lifts and handling constraints. Equipment dimensions are not working clearance: request an installation drawing.

Check the installation

Confirm electrical supply, available power and ventilation with the technical documentation. Electrical kW do not measure light dose; optical measurements need their own conditions.

Define the complete proposal

Ask for equipment, transport, handling, installation and support to be itemised. Confirm delivery times, warranty and service for the destination country.

Prepare the operating team

Obtain the manual, intended-use information, maintenance requirements and applicable conformity documents. Use model-specific instructions rather than a schedule taken from a study.

How we select sources

We link identifiable scientific publications and report findings and limitations, including null results. This initial collection is not a systematic review. Studies of particular devices and protocols do not establish outcomes for ARES products.
